Broken Ground (2010) Charlie’s latest CD Recorded at Wildsound in North Minneapolis and Co-Produced and featuring multi-instrumentalist Andy Dee also features the talents of Minneapolis blues piano legend Bruce McCabe guitarist Kurt 'Lightnin' Rodman, tuba player Tom Pattock and rub-vest and percussion of Scott Sansby. The back-up vocals are by the great Cara Luft formerly of the "Wailin Jennys" and Nashville folk artist and songwriter Laurie McClain.
Tavern Puzzles
Tavern Puzzles (2008) a 13 track album Co-produced by Andy Dee and Chris Zann recorded in St. Paul Minnesota and Nashville Tennessee featuring the legendary Sam Bush on mandolin and fiddle, Michael Bland on drums, Phil Solem and JD Steele on back-up vocals, and the late Gary 'King Squeeze' Currie on accordion. The record has Charlie's usual blend of Americana combining folk country and blues.
Rogues of St. Germain
Rogues of St. Germain (2006) a 13 song album recorded at The Terrarium in Minneapolis that was co-produced and features the talents of multi-instrumentalist Andy Dee and guitar great Paul 'Stretch' Diethelm. With some tracks featuring Bruce McCabe and Chris Stone on piano and Hammond organ, Billy Thommas and Matt Janssen on drums, Mike Zeleny on bass with Becky Schlegel, Tim Haussner, and Mike Miller on back-up vocals.
Star Motel
Star Motel (2002) Recorded in St. Cloud MN at Hammond Egg studio, this 13 song record is the first appearance of Andy Dee later to become Charlie’s producer on the next 3 albums. It also features a lot of the best talent St. Cloud had to offer, Paul Diethelm, Chris Stone, Jay O’Donnell, Mike Zeleny, Randy Mikelberg, and Darin Essery. Star Motel still considered by many to be one of Charlie’s best records featuring many of his most requested songs.
Past Lives
Past Lives (1999)was Charlie's first solo CD features 12 songs and was recorded in St. Cloud MN at Hammond Egg studio co-produced by John Hammond and features mostly the same band that is on 2002's album "Star Motel" only with Dan Preston playing most of the bass and Deanna Paulzine and Darrin Essery doing back-up vocals. Randy Mickelberg, Paul Diethelm and Kevin Spaulding on guitars. Chris Stone plays piano and organ.
